Ecological Services

Greenwillows Associates specialise in ecological and protected species surveys, ecological impact assessments, Wildlife and Countryside Act licences, European Protected Species Licences (EPSL), badger licences, mitigation and translocations. We also offer other related specialist impact assessments such as arboricultural, archeological, hydrological, flood risk, irrigation, water abstraction planning applications, reservoir, lake and pond creation, land drainage, soil analysis, landscape design and creation. We also offer training to our clients' in house staff.

Complementary enabling and ongoing estate management services include installation of newt fencing, reptile fencing, badger sett creation, wildlife gardens, pond creation, ground clearance, habitat management, tree surgery, brush cutting, mowing, hedge laying/flailing, pest control and herbicide treatments including treatment of Japanese knotweed, giant hogweed, Himalayan balsam and other invasive weeds.

We also supply (and install if required), badger gates for licensed exclusion works and reptile refugia.

Greenwillows Associates has the expertise to evaluate development impacts on a variety of different projects including barn conversions, loft conversions, residential developments (large and small), public utility sites, pipelines, landfill sites, roads, bridges, schools, footpaths and bridleways, industrial development sites, agricultural developments, open park and woodland, mineral extraction sites and river corridors.
